me too, but like they told me it's so old they didn't like that i brought back a old post, even tho it was good. so i don't know if a lot of plp post that they like the idea maybe it'll get implemented for once but like i said, i won't bring back old threads even though they are good idea's.

how is this an improvement?

i mean ppl are just going to buy the "best" turret so i mean...if its not the best its pointless, if it is the best it makes the game harder. so my question remains, why?

hell if you want something new in your defense system why not be able to drop of NPC ships in your biodome which appear when players land and can be upgraded--> new weapons/ships/more dex
and they could heal over time or you can buy them shields whatever...
a limit of 1 for lvl 1 bio
3 for lvl 2
5 for lvl 3

that's where you are mistaken, plp who know how to defend will mix their defences, for example laser do more damage but they don't take a lot of energy from you, but flaks do take energy but less damage, so someone who is clever will mix it up, same thing for turret it would add a surprise effect.


cuz honestly this game is boring at time, it's part of the reason i am leaving, because it is boring, cuz i don't have the time to take care of the cols, also cuz you have to play every month or you caractor get's deleted, i started a new game at http://www.piratesonline.com and it is a lot more fun, and since they is no pressure from your charactor to be deleted if i can't play for a month it doesn't matter i can always go back and all is there. not to mention you always have something to do as you are always given a quest. but yes i will go back to SGE one day, just don't know when

how does pirates compare to real mmorpgs, such as WOW, SWG, EVERQUEST, PIRATES of the BURNING SEA...and other pay2plays?

All mmo/rpgs/mmorpgs suck. Case closed. I got like level 30 in PoTBS before I realised I was wasting time and money.

you clearly havent ever capped a colony with straight up flaks - its far too easy. You can usually torp a single line to dome and you'll be able to cap. Try to do taht with lasers. Really the gattling gun would be a slightly less costly alternative to lasers for new permas or extended BBs. Also, recruitable NPCs is a hugging stupid idea, case closed.

i love it flaks and lasers are so boring to see there should be many many diff turrets to choose from maybe some rocket turrets that dont track ur ship and some fusion turrets (just like fusion blaster only in turret form) and a grav beam turret and exsplosive charge turret and emp trrets ( witha limit on the amount u can place maybe like 2-3 emp turrets) 8) :lol:

how about special abilities?
1. 50% decrease in speed for 1second but shoot one per second and do 70sheilds of damage
2. u lose ur minimap for 3seconds, 60 damage
3. random damage: 1-1000(kinda like rolling a 1000 sided die or inputting random number from 1-1000 on a calculator)
4. random $#!7 laser: randomly chooses between, 1-1000, emp, 50% decrease in speed, kick u out of planet or instant death:)

its a slightly different idea, i suppose if you turned it into a cannon it would be a bit more interesting, and fair. only like 2 per planet id say though, also if you swapped out solar speed and damage of turrets with emp or minimap blindness it would be better
