Idea: new cannons....

ive come up with more new cannons enjoy:
Ion Cannon: Fires a blue circle and has a trail of smaller circles following behind
Damage: 75 damage per shot
Bonus Effect: Casuses the player to either bounce around the map, or disable their ship for .5 - 1.5 seconds (2 for 1 limitation for every 1 cannon is 2 cannon spaces)
How this is balanced: This poses a twist in starport, instead of damaging your opponent to death, you can have them bouncing around your map for a while and not be able to approach your dome, place the weapons in the right place and you have your opponent pinned to the point where he cant progress and has to rethink his strategy or he/she can be disabled for what would appear to be an eternity.
Cost: 100,000 credits
Plasma Cannon: Fires a reddish laser like shot towards the player.
Damage: 100
Bonus Effect: Causes continuous damage increasing in intensity for up to 5 seconds in length (10 more damage per second causing up to 150 damage altogether, so it will be 100 starting then 110, 120, 130, 140 and 150) Limited to 10-15 per planet
How this is balanced: There is no weapon in game that does continuous damage so i figured why not?
