Torp glitch isnt fixed.. I was torping a hugging beacon so i could hail thorin the fuckign god damn col and it killed me.. I had 50m xp.. was emperor. . hug the god damn glithces... holy hug im pissed..

ya know...seems like ive read a few of these posts...most (or all...) by you. one of these days perhaps you will stop torping? as far as i can tell, its your own damn fault at this point.

What Toast is saying is,

You die once torping, ok bug glitch

you die twice doing the same thing, maybe questionalbe

you die many times doing the same thing, Your an idiot

repeatedly doing the same thing and expecting a different outcome each time,

is a perfect definition of Insanity

lol are you kidding? in today's fights with people with point defence torps are nothing fighting is useless and the game sucks

and I personally am not saying don't use torps, I just use surface missles for everything except killing npc our nukes are good for that still

and yes this needs to be fixed I know first hand if you remember on A New Hope roflmao oh well xp is for noobs

Do you have any shield emanator artifacts or Neutron Plating Armor modules when this happens?

Also an exact run-down of the sequence of events, including what your shields levels were each time you noticed them would help.

when i had the glitch happen to me on p5 i had 2 suits and one superconductor. my shields level was 16k. i was sitting in open space, with someones profile up. i was also chatting with people and hit the shift button to capitolize something (which also happens to be my fire secondary weapon, and in an ISC that is the torpedo) after the torpedo fired the games screen froze for about a second. and when it unfroze i got a checkov shot down checkov message and i was in a pod.


modules on p5 were afterburners, surface missiles, 2 flights and 4 energy dynamos

it seems to just randomly happen, ive tried replicating the exact events on servers i dont play to see if it happens each time and it doesnt always occur.

I never had the freeze in any of the 3 times it's happened to me. For me it's instant death as the photon is leaving. I don't know what more information I can give, most details aren't consistent between situations. Each time I had 16k or near 16k, I was always using the photons on the isc never module versions. The rest seem to be random.

it happened twice. I know for sure the game froze when i torped an alien on a colony, because the screen froze, a message saying i shot myself down appeared but i was still in my isc on the planet for about 2 seconds before finally appearing outside the colony in a pod. the second time it happened when i had a profile screen up it was like a small "hiccup" freezing for under a second.

also when the player melkaven (therealanony) had this happen and got the message he shot himself down, he immediately disconnected after it happened. this was on herculese cluster.


when it happened to me on Golden age i dont remember the screen freezing.

I think i had 1 neutron plate 4 energy mods and 3 flight mods.

I was on a rocky trying to hail it to thorin but there was a beacon at the Warp Hole so i went to torp it , and my screen froze for a second it Dcd me from the game and said Dark.Cloud shot down by Dark.Cloud. :(

This is still a problem, just died and lost 20m exp because I was shooting a sleeper in space down. I did not have neutron plating, shield em's or shield capacitors. I was shooting photon against a planet in space that the sleeper was up against, all of the sudden for no reason im in a pod.

Please fix this, this problem has been going on for over a month and still has not been fixed, thanks.

Yes when it happened to me yesterday I was on classic, it was not accompanied by any kind of screen freeze or anything like that, just one second i was shooting the next I'm across system in pod.

A few days ago on hercules cluster I was invading, fired a torp and lost 12k shields without dying. First time I experienced the bug like that.

i dont think it is possible to replicate it every single time toonces, which makes this so tricky.

Well i had no idea about this glitch and over the last week or so i've done a hell of a load of torping and i'm still alive.

I haven't died from photoning something other than myself recently.

Still not fixed!!! I warped into a system with 4k shields , heading towards a port, but before I got there I shot a torp at a NPC.

AND DIED!
5m exp down the drain. That aint a lot to some, but damn, it is for me.
