VCRUNTIME140.DLL is missing error

If you get this error when trying to launch Starport:
VCRUNTIME140.DLL is missing
You should download the vc++ redist from the official Starport site here:
http://www.starportgame.com/vc_redist.x64.exe
*If your computer is quite venerable indeed in age, and is not 64 bit, then download this one instead:http://www.starportgame.com/vc_redist.x86.exe
After downloading, run the file to update your Windows operating system. This file is from Microsoft and is safe. If you have a later version of Windows such as Windows 10 it's already part of your operating system and you don't need to download either of the above files.
Then you should not get this error when running Starport. Good luck!
