Nice little guide man, but I must say this... no matter how you defend a colony it can be taken. In my experience the easiest way to keep them from being taken on a regular basis is just to make your defense a pain in the donkey so so speak. Most people will not attempt to take a colony if you make it simply nothing more than a pain in the donkey to take. But all of that is dependable upon the layout and dome placement.

I do agree however, dome placement is the key to success for any colony defense.

cmining the closest port and systems would be a dead give away you have a col there lol, AFTER people find your col, do that, or theres no point in building in obscure areas
