found this on our old comp...looking at her xp you can see this is from around 2 years ago...close to the time the legacy vid was made...so this by my estimation is the closest video to come to the legacy collection yet. :mrgreen:

don't forget to turn the sound on! plenty of copyright-infringement-goodness for all!

oh, apparently i can embed video finally. so click the big blue square for movie...it wont play in pphforum, it will take you to my underused photobucket account though and autoplay, i think.

You try to record with growler on a macbook dual booted with only 10 gigs devoted to your windows partition and no external hard drive. I basically had to jew quality of the vid for quality caps without maxing it out.

Though if you really wanted. I do believe i have the original gcf's somewhere in their poor quality recordings.

Damn a couple of those caps were pretty sick.

Can I ask what your set up is? Your energy regen/loss is effing fantastic. You get hit by like 4 solar shots and lose like 30 energy at some point in the vid. That's incredible.

call me old fashioned but if you can take a direct blast from solar amd a good 5 laser hits right by dome and still cap then that really reduces the awesomeness level of the video.

old invasion vids it was all about building up enough speed to get to the dome before lasers could even fire. but in this one its slap on 8 neurons and 3 scs and just get bombarded as you fly by and yet still cap.

Best post mod video out there is a pretty big claim. I'm not so sure. It's a good cap video.

But I've long since grown out of having people turn down militaries and setting up caps for me. A lot those milis were probably on 0. Not that they were bad caps or anything.

Over all a good video.

No offence, and you did have some nice caps, but I could say the same about your latest vid. Jam on the afterburners, then the solar and lasers overshoot so badly it's pretty much a clear path to the dome at the push of a button. Wether you like it or not the old days are over.

it pretty much happened every cap. the arctic with dome to the left after going up the straight path straight up from lz was the most noticable. I personaly think it requires more skill to manage a high speed ship instead of being a complete tank and just take like no energy loss or shields damage but thats not the point. what im saying is that old videos and old invading was all around more skill based in general. Invasion used to be an art. now you can just buy the skill needed.
