naw im using windows 7. id like to play again but i cant get the frikin patching done. i see the player base hasnt gotten any better or someone wouldve actually posted something useful here

Uninstall. Delete the StarportGE folder. Download from the "playtechtonics mirror" at http://www.starportgame.com/download.php

Install with desktop icon. Make sure you launch with the desktop icon just installed.

Make sure your Windows user has basic file write permission as well as internet connection permission. Admin Windows accounts work best. Make sure your firewall isn't being a I love you man!.
