Re: Windows 8 problems
running starport on windowed mode on win8 is fine, but put it in fs and it lags like crazy, eventually you end up with less than 10 fps. its really bad. but windowed mode, i sit at my normal 69 fps. thinking its definatly a win 8 issue and not a sge issue. For that, I'd recommend you re-install you...

Re: Windows 8 problems
It should definitely run on Windows 8. In truth Windows doesn't change much from 7 to 8, etc.. Those numbers are basically for marketing new products to their customers, and most of the difference is just in front-end features. They would get lots of complaints if applications that worked on 7 sudde...

Re: Once upon a time in a galaxy far, far away
Actually, because of a property of relativity called length-contraction, the travel times at near-light speeds are much faster than this article says. However for a stationary observer where the ship took off from, indeed millions of years would pass. But for the people on the ship, when you get to ...

Re: Dexterity Bolt
The speed system is probably gonna change a bit soon. Actually flight mods will become obsolete and only thrusting will matter in determining top speed. It's a bit more realistic and it might even improve the smoothness of ship motions. That might have some effect on dexterity. It influences 3 thing...

Re: A Few Issues
Mbps is a measure of bandwidth, which is a completely different thing than latency. 300 ms is a latency reading, which is a little high but probably what you'd expect from Cyprus. The bandwidth is good though, you shouldn't have much networking problems with starport. The snap-to feature in Windows ...
