Re: really deep thinking questions.
I've said this before, I've posted the links before, so I'm not going to go deep into again. Many stories from the bible, the quran, both norse and greek mythology, egyptian mythology, mayan/ aztec/ incan stories, and even stories of the Native Americans can be found, written in the stories of the a...

Re: Our Universe
Nine-breaker, what do you mean with the word "dimension"? I use dimension in three different ways; 1. A point, line, or object in space giving length, width, and depth 2. A phase or rule in which is pressed upon by physics 3. Each cube in the example I gave would be considered a different dimension...

I also found this. This was a part of an email I wrote to a well know physicist, Michio Kaku, a year or so back, that sparked up an interesting conversation. My theory on said beings; They would be able to traverse the fourth dimension, time, like we can traverse the third dimension depth, moving ar...

Re: Our Universe
Now, you mentioned infinite dimensions? I was under the impression that according to M-theory there were about 11? Yes and No, going back to the rubiks cube analogy i used, each cube is a dimension, each dimension has its own set of dimensions. Making it infinitely huge in a confined space. That be...

Re: Our Universe
My theory on the big bang differs slightly, I think there have been multiple "big bangs." The known universe is constantly expanding at a rate unknown to us. There are two tangible reasons for this. One, the most commonly know theory, is the universe is expanding because of the initial force of the ...

Re: Our Universe
First I would like to state that out of answers above, Madace was closest hitter, though still pretty far away (not that I'm expecting to hit a bullseye). The reason I say this is because he was looking at the Universe in a four dimensional way, using time. However, the Universe is in no way only 4 ...

Sleep should have the same effect, after all, its not your eyes that close, its your eyelids, and if no light comes in, then the end effect is the same, I've been sleeping for a couple decades now and my eyesight hasn't gotten any better... So try this experiment. Stay up for 3 days playing sge look...

Pretty well any Pilsner brew will do. I like most Michelob, especially Michelob Ultra.
And most recently

In the past when I played sge, on what ever system, I could go into the visual setting in control panel and set it to where the application would resize on the screen where I can see everything in a nice square. Well on this newer system I have, windows vista, I can't figure out how to do that. It h...

The Universe started because of the Big Bang. Who created the Big Bang? NOBODY! Impossible? WHO CREATED GOD? I rest my case. Religious miracles happened in the past? No. That was an intelligent species doing things to us. If you played Spore - You'd understand how you might need to do such things. ...

Actually any state can secede and declare themselves independent by right of the constitution, and indeed there are several states threatening to do this at the present moment. Re: One world government
For a while I have been saying that we need to get over ethnicity and start looking at each other as "another human" humanity is our race, not black, white, latino, or asian. The only way to do this is to abandon religious ties (not religion itself) and get everyone under one culture. As for a gover...
