Re: Console war (which is best?)
Good games? X-Box360 has a crapload of crap games with a few good ones while PS3 has the same. Also, Wii is a completely different experience so that should not be in fight between PS3 vs Xbox360.

Re: How to Build A Volc
Volcs with AA5 are pretty cool now. I don't usually build volcs. No matter what you get, it's probably going to have a really low BPM solar. Yea, for it to be stable at 5k requires a relatively low Military (around 20-40%) but this can be awesome with Advanced Aerodynamics 3-5, Industrial Construct...

who is complaining? Sorry, but it's generally known that when Mel'Kaven appears that there is going to be some amount of complaining. Just trying to nip it in the bud. Re: New Perma: The Old Republic
Thank you, wegotdeathstar. That was my point in the earlier post exactly. However, you did phrase/explain it better than I did. Of course, I would suggest re-increasing the strength of the mods to earlier levels as it seems that many are extremely weak now.

I am a new player and what keeps people in game is a good community (which is there) and well lots of perks. Re: Blitzkrieg Beta Begins Tuesday May 18th
The blitz-call is a simple but extremely important issue. If you can't get people on, then it is just as bad as the mods being there. Now, we know that mods are here to stay, so lets have the mods be expensive enough that you have to make a big sacrifice for them (or wait half-way through game). I ...

and you think he has to only add a bool variable mod / no-mod? How do you think the client would handle it? Old code needs to be added to the client so the client will switch to 'no-mod'-mode when entering a no-mod server. Also, the server itself will need to keep track of some other db variables l...

Re: Vote: No mods and 3 planets for Blitz.
With or without mods, there is teamwork. However, some mods are a bit overpowered and create a system in which everyone gets X Y Z and leaves A B C D E F G etc. This is both boring and doesn't create teamwork. However, with mods, at the end of the last season, the blitzers had learned how to take o...

Re: Should a new, No-Mod server be created?
you guys think a no-mod server is easily implemented? Think about the amount of coding that needs to go into the client and server software to make it suitable for no-mod and mod servers, it's not just 'add a server and change some server settings', you'll need to rethink your complete architecture...
