Re: Ideas Requested: Next Perma (Take 2)

The problem with infinite corp size is all of the top players getting together and dominating the server, thus causing stagnation. Contractors have this same problem.

Re: Ideas Requested: Next Perma (Take 2)

I'd like to see a perma with infinite money. At first thought, the idea sounds terrible. That knocks out a whole chunk of the game! However, with infinite money, you can keep fighting forever. You can keep building super-colonies for invasion. That doesn't sound like stagnation to me. Also, nubs who...

Secondly. Won't this affect server efficiency?

I think it should cost if it is ever to be implemented.
I agree with this.

Also, there's always the possible bugs with giving out limited admin rights.

and 1 major downside that i see to all of this... you have a corp or 20 ? (some servers have that many) you have 5 planets, and the other 19 people have 5 each also. {for those that dont want to do the math, that is 100 col in your corp} .... if you hit the /corpall ... it would only corp YOUR 5 PL...

A big problem with this is calculating the total fuel usage. It could be done through waypoints, what the system thinks is the "fastest" route, could all be based off of the player's location... there are many factors in it.

I'd say that this is a fantastic idea, but don't make them available through pubs. People with money would just keep buying till they get the locs, and the locs would never be sold.

It would get less tokens bought, however, for fuel. Think about it - how many times do people die not watching autopilot? Make it so they don't have to watch as attentively, and less tokens are used. Windowed mode will also make it so that it's easier to pay attention. With alt+tabbed, you don't hea...

propwash, that makes absolutely no sense. If you're using it to scout an area, then you would visit every system with or without this. However, with this, there would be less repeated hops, meaning less fuel used. If you're talking about using neutrino scanners every hop and scouting the system, why...

Wine is able to run most Windows program, although there always that occasional trouble program that won't run. I heard that GameGuard won't work in it, or was it Punkbuster... I cannot seem to recall.

Be more attentive of what you type and you won't have this problem. This is one of the major ways to get intel from an enemy player or corp.
