Each level of the research would decrease a colonies pollution output by 10%, level 5 would mean 50% pollution reduction. Seeing as +2 dexterity really doesn't change much of anything, I think we should increase it's bonus to +5

I tried capping a colony or two on FE once and it kept kicking me out of the planet everytime I'd try to cap. Maybe it's the server?

Yes.. When people late spec into blitz it completely unbalances and ruins games.. I hope Toonces fixes the issue, I think what Muffin has suggested

Well, back in the day simply using the up arrow key to move never consumed any energy. I'd like to see that come back into play. When you're up close and personal with a solar it's extremely hard to dodge and nuke with the up arrow key taking away energy. Just in general it's a pain in the buttocks....

20 kps isn't much of a difference, if not upgrading to 12 hardware, we could always increase to 10. either way if you have a 4,6, or 8 nuke advantage on a guy your chances of winning are much greater. Well it seems as though when you get D/Ced on a planet or in space, the turrets will still fire and 99% of the time kill you...

this post is somewhat ridiculous.. this is exactly how the game SHOULD be. i have been playing random layouts the last few weeks and have not encountered one col that is "impossible". some may take a few deaths, i personally think the risk here is a much needed change. kudos to toonces for this one...

The speed system is probably gonna change a bit soon. Actually flight mods will become obsolete and only thrusting will matter in determining top speed. It's a bit more realistic and it might even improve the smoothness of ship motions. That might have some effect on dexterity. It influences 3 thin...

I would like to see toonces bring back PermaPax. Possibly with a new galaxy layout. If you want to see it come back then vote yes... I think for a perm pax to really work you'd need to start out a small sized galaxy and have it get progressively bigger by adding systems... that'd be a lot of work.....

I would be more inclined to see a map like Classic Homeworlds, it was big had some good arms, medium sized.
